Long Beach Comic-con--what to bring

Post by Stan Sakai »

The Long Beach Con is only a few weeks away. If you are going and would like me to bring anything for you, let me know with a PM or on this thread.

This would include comics books, trade paperbacks, hardcovers, specific art, and foreign editions. I will have a portfolio of drawings, but, right now, I don't have the time to do commissions before the con.

I will be at the con Saturday only, October 29. I will also be doing a presentation some time that day.

I an scheduled to do a signing at the Japanese American National Museum on Sunday, October 30 from noon to 1:30.

Since we are on the subject of October signings:

I will be signing at the Heritage Source booth at the Genki Living Expo at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, CA on Saturday, the 15th from 10 to noon. Heritage Source is primarily a mail order company, so this might be a good opportunity to order signed copies of Usagi Yojimbo. Here is the HS website:

I, along with Jaime Hernandez, Tony Millionaire, and others will be signing Nursery Rhyme Comics at Secret Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA from 7 PM

Hi Stan,
I am curious if you will be contributing any artwork to the Long Beach Comic Con program book?

I was not asked for anything, so if there is Usagi art in there it will be art picked up from somewhere else.

Hello Stan and UYDers,

Looking forward to the Long Beach Comic Con and seeing Stan again. Anyone else from the Dojo going? Want to meet up and take a dojo picture with Stan at his table 1902? I'm willing to organize if you post here or pm me.

Peace, maka

Maka, I'll be there. Depending on when things might be scheduled, I'd be up for a photo op. :D

This will actually be the first comic con that I've ever attended. Really looking forward to going, meeting Stan, and maybe meeting some fellow Dojo members.
