Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

Hello folks -

I am not a sysadmin of the UsagiYojimbo.com domain so I don't speak with the authority of the domain owner, however it's important that we get this information out there.

If you are using any flavor of Internet Explorer to read the DojoBoard Forum, please stop until further notice. There is a discussion in the <a href="http://usagiyojimbo.com/forum/viewtopic ... 0983">Help Forum</a> for those who need more information.

The short version is this - the forum has been hacked and code has been inserted which redirects users to websites which attempt to download malicious software onto your system.

If you have been using Internet Explorer to browse the Dojo forum and do not run an Antivirus software program, you should assume the worst and do a full scan immediately.

<b>I have PM'd Todd but if anyone has a faster way to reach him, please do so.</b> This is something that has to be fixed by the domain owner or someone who can modify the PHPBB files themselves (ie: a forum moderator probably can't fix this).

I sent a copy of this message on to Aaron Digulla who actually set up this version of the Dojo Forum. Hopefully, either he or Todd will be able to fix the problem.

Thanks guys! Let's hope this can be resolved quickly. I'll be using Firefox till things get put in order.

I haven't had any issues myself (I use Safari at home), IE when at work...
