Miyamoto Usagi IDW

Hi Everyone -- here's a question that's been on my mind, perhaps Stan himself would have a chance to answer it:
Different versions of Usagi have appeared in different media of TMNT. But if Usagi appeared in the IDW series, would he be the original Usagi since it's a comic, and if so, would he also remember the original Turtles, depending on what stage of his life he's in?

He will be the original one in the comics. They have their own continuity.
