I was watching a older TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) episode and there was Usagi there

Yes. Usagi was in two episodes of the original TMNT series (Usagi Yojimbo, and Usagi Come Home). He is also in the new series--a four-part story "The Big Brawl" this season, and in two episodes next season. There will also be a toy from Playmates this fall.
Usagi and the Turtles has always had a strong connection. We're both celebrating our 20th anniversary.
