Frank Miller has been added to Baltimore Comic-Con. Sakai, Miller, Mignola, Simonson, Kindt = Not bad.

Only problem is, he will only be there Friday and is charging $100 per signature. I want my Art of Usagi signed, but do I want to spend $100? :(

I agree with Maka. No signature is worth $100 to me. Except maybe Abraham Lincoln or Nikola Tesla. 8)

The only time I've spent $100 on a signature (and it's the most I ever have) was Mark Hamill. I believe he charges more now, but that's what it was at the time.

:D I agree!
You don't want to pay for that much for his signature. I don't know anybody actively searching for Miller's autograph at that price. On ebay, his slabbed signed books are in the $50-$75 range.
Just think of all the upcoming Usagi stuff you could buy with that $100...Woudln't you get more enjoyment out of that instead of his signature?

I agree with Kyle...I would pay for Lincoln's for sure. However, I imagine Mr. Lincoln would be kind enough to do it for free :)

I could always buy one from CBLDF, cut it out and place it inside my Art of Usagi. It just looks better when every page is signed.

Last week the CBLDF had a Batman door poster signed by Miller for $30. I passed, maybe that was a mistake.

I paid Mike Zeck $5 to sign my Kraven's Last Hunt hardcover. He has a nice signature.

Thanks for the link. I saw they had a Michael Cho print of the main character in his book Shoplifter that I loved. I have a friend who loves that book too, so I'm going to buy that signed print for her for only $20. Deal!

I also enjoyed Kraven's Last Hunt. I think I might have had J.M. DeMatteis sign it for free. Back in the day when artists didn't charge for signatures. Peace, maka

Michael Cho is a pretty nice guy. He signed my Parker: The Score because he was one of the guys in "the gang". I forget what they were actually called. Haven't read it in a while.

Cho is an amazing artist and storyteller. As was Darwyn Cooke. Those Parker books are amazing. I didn't know Cho was one of the gang. I'll have to back and read it again. Thanks. Peace, maka

I just noticed Mike Mignola canceled a couple of week's ago. Thankfully my hotel room is refundable. Stan and Mike were the main reasons I wanted to go.

I didn't even notice Mike Mignola cancelled. Too bad, I would have loved to meet him.
But the list of guests is good enough to make me happy.

If anyone wants anything from the con, just let me know. There are not as many fancy exclusives as San Diego, though, so I will probably have a shorter list than Kyle.

It's a really good guest list. There just aren't that many Sakai Project contributors there. I probably should have gone to Heroes Con, but I talked myself out of it.

I have a feeling myself and a couple of friends will want the year book from the con as normal, but I'll check with one of my mates to see if he's already sorted out getting it from someone else. If not, I'd like to take up the offer to purchase them for me :)
