Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

Now that The Hidden is wrapped up, does anyone know what's coming next? No news on the Dark Horse site ... just impatiently looking forward to my monthly-ish fix of the best storytelling in comics

The new Diamond Previews for comics being released in February 2019 does not have any new Usagi Yojimbo being published by Dark Horse listed in it, so there is nothing coming before March at the earliest, unless it is being released by a different publisher.

Perhaps Stan is polishing up the next Saga collection?

I assume it'll be awhile before UY Saga vol 9 is out, seeing as how it'll collect book 32 (Mysteries), book 33 (The Crossing? to be released in 2019), and book 34 (untitled to be released in 2020?). I'd imagine they'd want a gap between releasing the book 34 tpb and putting it into a Saga collection, so if 34 comes out July 2020 (July seems to be the usual Usagi date), I wouldn't think we'd get UY Saga vol 9 until 2021.

I just wonder when the next issue is going to be? Maybe the idea is that we'll get a 7 issue Mini series every year instead of the usual 9 or 10 issues... Which I'm fine with, really. Stan's been doing this comic for over 30 years on a consistent schedule. I'm fine with his workload being less than a bit.

Just wondering if anyone has any word on new material?

I saw that saga volume 8 was up and thanks to sensei’s post on fezbook, volume 33 (the hidden) will be out later this year...

I have a question for uk dojo members:
where do you get your usagi hc’s?
my usual stockist is... being slightly weird, so was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

Get the Usagi h/c through my comic store as they order direct using Diamond. Forbidden Planet, but there is a chance they don’t fulfil the order. Or use Amazon, but might be a bit more expensive.

fp’s website shows saga v8 as £72, but £54 on subscription (but won’t let you subscribe) amazon is £66

He didn't, at least as of a couple year ago.

I bought a Saga 1 Artists Proof from him but I needed to have it shipped to a USA address, which I did. I picked it up a few months later when I was through the USA.

They won’t have The Hidden listed yet, because it’s due for July. Check back there in a couple months or so I’d say.
