LA Times article--12/18/05

Post by Stan Sakai »

Today's Sunday LA Times has a nice article about the series written by Charles Solomon. Charles interviewed me for my first LA Times piece about 15 years ago. It's nice to see he's still keeping up with the books.

Great article. Very nicely written.

Stan, any chance you have the artwork (or copies of it) which was published in Charles Solomon's March 8, 1993 LA Times article? I was able to find a copy of the text portion of the article, but was never able to find a copy of the original newspaper with the illustrations or photographs.

I've got a couple extras, and I'll send you the page. Back then it was such a unique experience to be spotlighted so well in a prominent newspaper, I went out and bought multiple copies. I shouldn't say I'm blase' about it now, but this time I didn't run out and buy the Times at all since I already had the Star News. A friend did give me a copy of it, though.

Nice article that does a quick summary of the career of the Ronin Rabbit!

As a more recent convert than most, I'm glad to see that UY gets mainstream press coverage.
