Drawing the Line Again

Post by Stan Sakai »

The second volume of Drawing the Line, Drawing the Line Again, has been published and will make its debut at the Toronto Comic Con this weekend. It is an anthology books in which, I think, I have a color Usagi piece. All proceeds will be donated for cancer research at two Toronto hospitals.

The first volume contained the short story A Cooking Lesson.

Both volumes were spearheaded and edited by my good friend Suley Fattah, himself a cancer survivor. I hope to have copies at San Diego.

Here is the website:

Another reason for me to attend the convention... Any idea how much the book will be?

It printed a black and white version of a color piece I did.

I actually did not have time to do a new drawing or story for this volume, but Suley had an unpublished color piece that I had done last years and asked permission to publish that. I'm really glad he did.

Hopefully, I'll be able to contribute to the next one.

Special thanks to Suley Fattah for offering the use of this image on the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo web-site, as well as the fantastic and unending work he has been doing to raise money for cancer research at The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation and The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation.

Also need to thank Stan for his permission as well as for donating this drawing and the short story he contributed to the first benefit book.
