San Diego Comic Con 2007 Events!

Post by Todd Shogun »

Dojo Members,

San Diego Comic-Con 2007 is literally right around the corner! Next week, July 25-29 at the San Diego Convention Center. For those of you attending this, the largest comic book convention in the world, here's some stuff you don't want to miss:

Thursday 2:30-4PM - Sergio, Mark, Stan, and Tom: Groo's 25th Anniversary!

Friday 1:30-2:30PM - Stan Sakai signing at the Dark Horse Comics pavilion

Friday 2:30-3:00PM - UY Dojo Usagi-fan get-together, right after Stan's signing at the Dark Horse pavilion

All day, every day: - Stan's booth #4906 - tons of comics, books, artwork, and other Usagi merchandise will be available

We decided to try something different this year and hold the UY Dojo get together at the Dark Horse Comics pavilion instead of Stan's booth. The con floor is getting more and more congested each year, and despite efforts by Comic-Con to alleviate this problem by capping off admission (notice that 4-day badges are currently sold out), it still manages to get very crowded, too crowded to facilitate the get-together.

All Usagi fans are invited to attend the get-together, where fans can meet one another, hang out with Stan and take a few pics for the website. There may even be a surprise or two, who knows? :-)

So remember, 2:30PM sharp, at the Dark Horse Pavilion. Also, don't forget to wear your UY Dojo T-shirt! If you plan to attend, please notify us at sdcc@usagiyojimbo.com so we can put you on the roster.

UY 104, the conclusion of the origin of Jei, will be out on the Wednesday of the San Diego Con. Stan should have copies Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.
