"I'd say Diana is like an M&M... hard shell, but soft inside!"
Would you say the same about Diana Stan ?

Diana is a darling, especially when you keep on her good side by meeting all your deadlines. Which, fortunately, I do.

I met her at the Paradise Con this weekend. A entirely charming woman.

Ah the editor, really the un-sung heroes of the comic industry.

She mentioned she's going to reveiw some peoples work at the convention. I told her to be cruel, as it's the only way people will sharpen their work. Of course if she did that to me, I'd be devestated.

(SIGH) I will never get to go to a comic con...I live in the middle of no where haha. It sucks because I will never get to meet all these great people. I would love to meet Stan and have him draw a sketch for me. All you fans who live near these conventions should attend, consider yourselves lucky. (SIGH)

Middle of no where? I always thought Newfoundland was on the far edge of no where... :D

I bet it is really beautiful country there.

I have a spare copy of the 2005 AnimeNorth convention program which featured a very cool (and quite differant) piece of cover art by Stan Sakai. It has Stan's autograph and sketch on the cover.

If interested, PM me your address in Newfoundland to mail it to.....

Abayo.....

I'm in the UK and I'm venturing out to San Diego for the first time this year for the Comicon. So if I can travel 6,000 odd miles, then you can't say you're further away than me ;)

(to be truthful though this year, there's no Classic Gaming Expo and hence the money I would have spent on going to that is going on this instead. Still it comes at an opportune time with it being major anniversaries for Usagi and published by Dark Horse this year)

And Stan's seemingly been to most European countries except the UK sadly. Someone here gotta invite the guy at some point me thinks!
With a breeze comes a storm, but then you'll all be washed away...
