UY NR 100 Contest Underway!

Post by Todd Shogun »

The UY 100 Statue Contest is underway! I hope you all got your entries in to Steve Hubbell, who is administering the contest. If not, hurry up! Actually, you have until UY 100 comes out Jan 31 to enter, so really there's no rush. But why not just get it in anyway just so you don't forget?? 8)

For those of you not on the mailing list and did not receive the contest notification, contact Steve and he'll set you up. But you will have needed to be a Dojo Member on or before Dec 27, 2006! The notification will not be posted here on the DojoBoard, nor will it be emailed out again...

Just a reminder, the UY Dojo's "Usagi Yojimbo NR 100 Raffle" contest is nearing it's deadline. With no more entries excepted after January 31, 2007 (when Usagi Yojimbo #100 hits the shelves), that means there is less than two weeks left to get your email entry in.

If you want a chance to win a cool Usagi Yojimbo statue by master sculptor Roel Robles, quit wasting time and send in your contest entry...

Remember, the only requirement for this contest is being a registered UY Dojo member prior to when the contest began (December 27, 2006).

If you never received the UY Dojo newsletter explaining how to enter the contest, send me a PM or email and I will be glad to let you know.

Abayo.....

This might be a silly question, but here goes: What constitutes membership in the Dojo? For example, I have been a member of this board. Is there more to do than that?

Nothing silly about the question....

It just means you registered for the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo Newsletter OR you registered with this forum, or possibly you signed up for the old Usagi Yojimbo Yahoo Mailing list / discussion group which was incorporated into the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo sometime last year.

Then again, you would also qualify if you were possibly a member of the Polish or French UY Dojos and registered with either of the forums ran by them at the end of last month.

You qualify with no problems.

According to Todd Shogun, over the past ten years approximately two thousand email addresses were registered for the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo Newsletter. Also, in the four years this particular forum has been up and running, close to a thousand user registrations have been logged. Even discounting members with multiple registrations and spam registrations, that still adds up to a lot of people with at least a little bit of interest in Usagi Yojimbo and the Dojo web-site.

As a German saying goes: "There are no silly questions, only silly answeres!"

I think no-one could have answered it better than Steve, since he is in charge of organizing the contest; now, sschroeder, take a breath and start writing...

Good luck, btw...
Greetings from overseas

Oh, forgot about that.

Oh well. I've never been too lucky in any types of raffles, anyway. :)

If I'm not wrong, we're six Spaniards there! - I'm the one from Marbella, even though I'm currently studying in Madrid... I never forget my hometown :P -

Let's wait for who will win... Good luck, everybody!!
