Steve, please note the text on both the announcement page and the ballot:
Please, only one set of votes per name and legitimate street address or P.O. Box. We will not use your personal information for anything other than determining voter eligibility. If you do not follow these instructions, all your votes will be thrown out.
You can vote in as many *categories* as you like, but only one ballot.
Can I suggest it would be helpful to provide Dojo members with a handy list of candidates, sort of like the League of Women Voters do to help voters get it right:
Favorite Editor: Diana Schutz
etc.
Favorite Comic-Book Story: I believe the Usagi story eligible for 2007 would be the beginning of the current story arc. In issue 103 it is titled "The Darkness and the Soul." It this correct?

In the voting ballot page, there aren't any boxes to enter any info regarding a "street address or p.o. box info" though. ???

They probably cut and pasted that info from last year's voting instructions maybe.

Or maybe they are keeping track by the voter's computer's address, or through a tracking cookie.

Brent Frankenhoff wrote:Feel free to mention our nominating ballot on other websites and link back to this thread, but we ask those websites or posters to not give potential voters a list of what creators and projects they should vote for and which they should avoid. Such detailed listings amount to a request for ballot box stuffing. As ever, ballot box stuffing will result in discarding the ballots in question. This is a democratic process with everyone free to pick their favorites, not ones that they're told to vote for. Soliciting votes is allowed, but filling in the blanks for potential voters is not.
We are not supposed to tell everyone who or what to vote for, but considering the nature of this forum, I thought Stan Sakai or Usagi Yojimbo fit very nicely in almost every catagory. I have to admit that it was close between Sergio and Stan or Groo and Usagi, but Usagi yojimbo won out for my votes. (Sorry VikingSpawn

That seemed like a sure bet for me.
Favorite Comic-Book Story: I personally picked "Fever Dream" as my choice for obvious (to me) reasons. Not to mention, I find it hard to choose between episodes of multi-part stories. I also considered "The Killer" as a potential choice, but the existance of an alternate ending to the story made it seem kind of inappropriate.

There's also the
"Wizard Fan Awards" where
Diana Schutz is nominated for
"Favorite Comic Book Editor" too.
Here's the link to the Wizard voting page and her category is in box number 10:

Rock the vote! (it might help to vote from different computers since they only count one per "IP" address) Not sure if deleting cookies and voting again works.

Here's an update on the Wizard voting poll... it seems to be accepting multiple votes once per hour per every user.
No deleting of cookies needed.

Voting for these Fan Awards end on Jan. 20th.
When was the last time Wizard gave Usagi Yojimbo coverage?
