MegaCon--what to bring

MegaCon in Orlando is coming up in a few weeks. If you are going to be there, do you want me to bring anything in particular? I will be there Friday to Sunday afternoon.

Remember--except for very specific exceptions, just because you ask me to bring something, it does not obligate you to buy it.

...just a portfolio drawing of a nature we discussed via PM a few weeks ago.

Looking forward to meeting you again. :)

P.S. I respect the new sketch policy, but am unsure if it only applies to loose sketches or also to sketching inside bound material. I have 3-5 trades I'd like to bring but will respectfully leave them home if they apply to the policy.

I will happily still do little drawings inside of books.

There will be a "have lunch with Stan" auction for Friday. The winner gets lunch with me as well as a drawing made during the lunch.

The winner last year was very happy with the art--an 11x17" drawing of Usagi fighting a tentacled monster.

The auction starts about a week before the con. I'll post the link when it's up.

Also I am donating a drawing for the bowling night.

All monies raised will be donated to Heroes Initiative, which helps financially strapped comic book creators.

Only two weeks left till Megacon! I can't wait. The sights, the presence, the smell... Well maybe not so much smell. But I just love the expirence I always have there. Rubbing elbows with comic, tv and movie legends. On one corner you can buy a katana and just across the isle you find old cartoons on dvd you forgot even existed. Kind of magnificent in its own special kind of way.

Back to matter in hand.

I joined the dojo alittle after last Megacon so I just wanted to know what you mean by anything in particular? Like sketch books, pins, trades, prints. That kind of stuff? Just curious, though I'd gladly take you up on anything you offered no matter how small or simple.

Yes, all that stuff, add on original drawings, commissions, trading cards, hard covers, and even the freebies like posters, cards, and stickers if I have some left.

I'm just starting the inks on UY 112. I hope to finish it before MegaCon, but that won't leave me much time to work on convention drawings.

You can either post your wants here, or pm me.

Wow, I never would have thought of posters. You have a more impressive array of Usagi swag then I first realized.

Thank you Mr. Sakai for answering my question. I love too see more of your original drawings there and maybe some of the stickers as well. And the sketch books! I kick myself for not picking up one of those last time.

But all is at your dicresion Stan. Anything you bring will be greatly apprieciated.
