San Diego--what to bring

After Yokai, I had just 3 weeks to complete UY 122--it usually takes 5. During that time, I also lettered 4 weeks of Spider-Man Sundays and an issue of Groo, drew the cover for UY 125, and did a watercolor drawing for a bookplate. UY 121 comes out this week, so you can see how far behind schedule I am.

I still have not thought about Comic-con, but it's only a month away. I have not started on Sketchbook 6, but hope to have copies at the con.

Is there anything you would like me to bring--a particular back issue, a hardcover, Albedo #2, a trading card, a cold-cast statue, a particular piece of art, etc?

You can also ask for commissions, but, besides getting ready for Comic-con, I've got to maintain my deadlines so may not get to everything.

It's good that you've got four extremities; I suppose you'd used your lower extremities for lettering, while drawing Usagi with your upper ones (right hand, that is; left hand did the water color drawing...).

Anybody going to CCI-San Diego who can help me out with a Usagi Sketchbook #6 and one of the convention programs / souvenier books? I would really appreciate it.

I hope to have 10 copies of the Book 23 Hardcovers shipped directly to the convention.

These will not be Artist Proofs however, but part of the regular numbered edition.

If no one has already offered, I can do it.

Uh... that was to Steve H. and the person under him.

I very much appreciate the offer, Cynlee, but I have already received a reply from Maka. I will keep your offer in mind in case anything messes with Maka's plans to attend SDCC.

I'll take one of those and the latest sketchbook. And the new Fantagraphics collection if it shows up.

Best,

Steven Ng

Please set aside two sketchbooks for me. I shall not request more-- I'll just see what you have.
