Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

Some details for those interested in ordering / receiving a copy of the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo 25th Anniversary Special.

These are "magazine" size 100 page square bound books that weigh 15 oz (inside a plastic sleeve with two backing boards and mailed in a manila envelope).

These were produced for fans of Usagi Yojimbo by fans of Usagi Yojimbo. Funds to help cover the printing costs were donated through a gofundme campaign by Usagi Yojimbo fans. There is no costs for a copy of this book, just a shipping and handling fee.

By going to the USPS.com web-site (or any other shipping company) you should be able to enter the weight, the origin zip code (49003) and the destination zip code, and get a price quote for what postage should cost. Please add fifty cents to the postage cost to cover the price of bags and backing boards.

If you choose the flat rate priority envelope mailing option, that will allow for the addition of extra cardboard for protection.

Payment for shipping can be sent to "usagiyojimbodojo AT yahoo.com" and please include your FULL name and address. Friends and Family option is preferred. Tips and donations are also still happily accepted.

Since there is a limit to the number of copies available, (approximately 150), please confirm your name and address before sending payment by messaging me by PM here, at Usagi Goya (Facebook) or through the email address listed above. Please also include any screen name which you might post under on the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo forum or Facebook.

Will the sketchbook be sent with the 25th anniversary if we choose Priority? Or will that be two separate orders?

The sketchbooks can be shipped with the Anniversary Special for no additional charge in the priority flat rate envelope...

I think Steve may have order a limited supply of extra copies to get a cheaper per book printing price. No promises, but you should ask, Estee. You have been a part of the dojo for a long time. Seems to me you should get an anniversary comic. I don’t think backing the gofundme is a requirement. Peace, maka

I definitely have a copy if you want it. The book is free, just pay postage. First class is around $22 (USD) and flat rate priority is around $28 (USD) to Canada

Steve, I will pay flat rate for the 25th Special and the sketchbook. Before I send the money with my address though I will need to know when you expect to mail them out. I am moving in under two weeks and need to know which address to provide.

Thank you so much, I loved it. I learned some things, I thought it was interesting that albedo 2 was given away and likely trashed, that is honestly mindblowing. I was also unaware of stan's very early stuff, very interesting. I am unfortunately not financially well off currently or able to drive so I have never been to a con, but I hope to be able to go to one of the dojo meetups someday after I get my degree (aka have some money lol). After reading this though I feel like I walked away from it knowing nothing lol. I am definitely a newb compared to some of you older superfans, but thank you for filling in the gaps for us newbs.

Man, you really out did yourself this time. The 25 UY Dojo anniversary book is AMAZING! I only flipped through it but the amount of talented content in there is blowing my mind. This is the best quality fanzine EVER! Did you ever think you would be in the publishing business?

I can tell this is a labor of love and you should be super proud of yourself for putting this together. What an honor it is to get one. I'm so glad you did the gofundme route to get funds to make this so GREAT! I can't wait to sit down and really take it all in.

And to all those amazing people who contributed to it, THANK YOU too! This has always been the best community on the internet. That's because of you all!
