weird, when i first looked at it, it just had $1600 starting bid.

now it's been bought for buy it now for $1750

Somebody must have contacted him and said they'd pay $1750 because the buy it now wasn't there 30 minutes ago.

i can say this, when i looked at link on laptop, it was $1600 starting bid.

i went to my phone to send a friend the link. when i looked back at the laptop, it showed $1300 as the starting bid. then i thought, was i crazy. i didn't see a buy it now price either.

when i hit refresh, it said bought for buy it now price.

you're probably right, there was probably some messaging between seller and buyer.
