Quick somebody in the States make an offer and then mail it to me. I'll pay you back, I swear!

It might be a mate of mine selling this, gonna ask him. If not, the seller's name is a totally coincidence then!

Having spoken to my mate, he does indeed own a copy of #2 Albedo but this is not his auction. So I guess another eBay seller is using D ick's character for his handle...
(blimey, didn't think the word filter would trigger on THAT!)

New to these boards, but not to the site or to UY... just thought I'd toss it out there that I won this, and I'm pretty happy with the price I paid. Especially since it's unslabbed so I can actually look at it. It'll be going to a good home; can't wait to see it.

huh! well done I think you got very good value there. I was almost considering bidding myself, but I think I'll keep my collecting confined to the realms of original art.
... and welcome!

Wow, $371 is a damned good price to pay for such a book. I haven't seen it go for that low in a long time. Guess the slabbers weren't paying attention this time...you slab that book and it can easily fetch $1000 plus if it is in the stated condition. Personally, I think it's worth more unslabbed and in a mylar sleeve for easy access! Congrats!

thanks, all.
I don't really plan on slabbing it... waiting forever to read a book and then mashing it in an unbreakable piece of plastic that makes it unreadable seems pretty silly to me...
I would, at some point, really like to get it signed. It seems like Stan attends a bunch of West Coast Cons but very few out on the East... very sad...
I'm going to start my campaign for Stan Sakai at HeroesCon '08 right now
