Does anyone know if this piece has been published anywhere?

I've seen this before. Either on eBay years ago or it's on the back of one of the comics. I have the last 30 issues or so and it's not on any of them.

haha, yeah I saw it there, that's why I'm inquiring as to whether it's been published.

I've had zero luck over the last 2 years trying to get a piece by Stan that's been published. This one's right up my alley, but I've not seen it in print anywhere. I thought maybe one of you guys with a more complete collection might've seen it elsewhere?

It looks like a piece that would have been coloured and on the back of an issue, but without going through all my issues, I can't say for sure.

Hey Mayhem, thanks for the reply. Well I'm guessing it would be on an issue from 2001-2002... Any chance you could have a wee look? I only have the last 20 issues (roughly) and the rest are in hardcover form.

I can't help you as I don't keep track of these things. I send Cary a bunch of photocopies of convention drawings to use as he sees fit--on back covers, as fillers, or embossed on hardcovers.

I looked through those issues ( inside and out ) and did not find the drawing.
I did have fun, especially when i found the photo of the Dojo Dinner for Fanime2K, a highlight in my life.
At Fanime2K, there were many pictures like these available at Sensei Sakai's table in binders.
Perhaps this auction is for one of those drawings.
