Isn't it $20 or so at DarkHorse.com?
Also, I can see at least one upside to it: capitalism works on the logic "the more people want it, the higher I can sell it for". So there's probably a growing market for Usagi-related products, and that's a good thing.

Hopefully this also means more products will be made available in the next few years as Usagi continues to grow in popularity. I want an enamel pin of the chop and his crest, a replica Usagi robe, an Usagi gaiwan tea set, some Usagi dress socks, and more toys. I'd love some collector-oriented figures in the 1:12 scale. The turtles figures certainly have a charm to them but I'd love something that matches the comic art, more like what Antarctic Press did years ago but with better packaging, articulation, accessories, etc. Considering what NECA has done with the comic-style and cartoon turtles figures I think they'd certainly treat Usagi with the respect it deserves.

Doesn't Stan sell chop pins? I thought those were enamel. Maybe not...

I don't remember if I purchased mine from his store or if I had someone buy it from him at a convention.

Stan sometimes has the chop logo enamel pins at conventions, but hasn't made them available through his store that I've seen.
I've seen a bunch of limited pin runs being offered from various artists, so it seems like getting some Usagi themed ones made in fairly small batches and at reasonable prices (~$10) wouldn't be a problem. There are a bunch of boutique pin makers out there these days that could make small runs. We should bug Daniel about it.

We have Usagi cloisonné pins, however we don't sell them though mail order because they are so difficult to ship and the shipping would cost about the same as the cost of the pin. We usually have them at conventions and signings.
I want to do another pin with Julie's version of the Usagi chop.

People love pins.... Skelton Crew Studio makes nice pins. I have some for Mouse Guard and Hellboy. Not sure if Stan would want to go that route... but just in case, might be worth Daniel or Stan looking into.

I have the Hellboy pins from Skelton Crew as well and really like them. At the JANM today, I chatted with Daniel a little bit about pins (and shirts). He reiterated the plan to do Julie's Chibi Chop pin and I did my best to talk him into doing another design (though not any one in particular) as well. I feel like I made a good case, pointing out the current popularity of pins, how little room they take up when traveling to conventions, and the decent profit margins (according to the very little research I did

).

I like putting pins on my Usagi Yojimbo cap.
Next time you talk to Daniel, would you put in a plug for laptop stickers? Peace, maka
