Steve used the image on an envelope with his own card in it.
The card in my photo is from The Westfield Company.
I purchased it on ebay over a decade ago.
This card is very rare, almost never coming up for sale.

The very first Usagi Christmas card I ever sent out also featured this art, if I remember correctly. I only sent out a handful and they were printed up off my computer. I think Mayhem used to have a photo of it on his Flickr account or something some years back. I never bothered to keep one for myself at the time....

[EDIT] Nope, Mayhem just has a picture of the envelope on Flickr, not sure who else besides Stan Sakai I sent one to.....

Does anyone know if the card art was specifically drawn for the card or was it an image that Westfield found and used?

The art was probably obtained from Stan Sakai at some point and was used as the cover of one of their monthly "Westfield Newsletter" that they published. I can not say whether the card or the cover came first. This was the first that I had ever seen of the card....
