I'm new to this forum, athough I have been visiting the site for a while. Last night as I was browsing the fanart section, when it struck me that I had never attempted to draw Usagi. Pretty upset at myself I set out to portray one of my favorite comic-characters. And I must say I was quite happy with the result. Maybe had I attempted earlier I would not had achevied something this good, but who knows.
So here are my very first and second drawings ever of the courageous ronin!

I'm not happy with how his hand looks on the first, he was supposed to be holding the scabbard.
It looks much better on the second one.
I noticed after that I had only given him his katana, but oh well.
...I couldn't resist drawing myself in the same style. X3
EDIT: I forgot to add the medium!
Done with pencils and edited in PS

We're not restricted to fan art though; we'll also accept fan fiction, photographs, etc.
I've commented already on your fan arts, and I'll say this again: you did a great job! I like the style you've used for Usagi *thumbs up*
On another note; I have no complaints against putting up a sticky about my announcement on setting up the Usagi Yojimbo club at Deviant Art
