I ran across this piece of artwork at a blog called The Hubbell Telescope maintained by a Kory Hubbell (no known relation), but because of the quality of the piece and the artist's name, I had to re-post it here.

I like it. I think that the mask on the helmet is kind of an interesting touch. If I'm remembering correctly, it seems like Stan doesn't include those in UY very often. I wonder why the sword looks like it has a serrated edge, though.

I think it's pretty cool too though the extreme buck teeth kind of puts me off some. The sword isn't serrated. It's a designed pattern on the sword. It's funny cuz I went to look at my set of swords and it has the exact same pattern along the edge.

I like it. It's a very different take on a samurai rabbit...and a little more "rabbity" than Usagi. The artwork is well done. On the flip side I'm glad Stan chose to make his anthropomorphs more on the human side (physically).
