Colors

Post by Eltanin »

Well, I'm not sure it qualifies exactly as Fan art, since the only thing I did was to add colors, but I thought I'd share the results with you anyway.

I decided to try to add colors to a scan of my Usagi commission (in case you didn't see the wonderful piece Stan Sakai did for me, you can see it here: http://www.usagiyojimbo.com/forum3/view ... f=9&t=7605).

I played a bit with gimp before, but it's the first time I tried to color a black and white drawing, so I learned many things in the process, and it took me a looooong time to get to this result.
Anyway, it was fun to do. :)

Thanks!

I tried to stick close to the colors Tom Luth and Stan Sakai usually use.

Why not? I had fun coloring mine, so I could as well color other ones. I have some free time, these days., so if you want me to give a try at one of your drawings, just pick one, and I'll see what I can do.
