Usagi consoling Leonardo, and partially taken back with this reminder that his good friend is in many ways still a child.
A simple pic that went into a bit of overtime somehow. (You people making me color everything now^_~) I tried to draft it out as if it were a screen capture from an animation rather than a self-contained image. Love the full bleed on this one^_^ It looks just like a cel composition! Which is... probably only a kick for me, actually^^;

If you were going for an animated look to the picture, you hit it on the right on the nose.
It is possible to actually picture in my mind a whole sequence for the story you are telling with just the single image, and the characters as you draw them have so much vibrancy and life, they just seem to want to climb right off the screen.
Maybe, one of these days, you and Fanfan could conspire to produce an animated short story?
