Um... Hi!
Pleased to meet you! I'm... well...Melissa.

Amy's sister!

I'm very sorry for taking so long to post this, especially after such heartening encouragement from Mr. Sakai!
I
love the woodcutter and his wife! There's just something so inspiring about seeing the two of them living their arduous, yet uncomplicated life side by side. Even if it's only for about 1 to 3 panels every couple of years!:D
I did the drawing and basic coloring, and my sister rearranged it in Photoshop.
God Bless!

A beautiful piece of work, Melissa, and thank you very much for sharing it with us here on the forum. Also, welcome to the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo as well.

W00t! That's pretty spiffy, Sis! Even if I do say so myself
Seriously, these two characters are so cute. And it's a really fun drawing of them. You should be happy with your work^_^

Hey! what did I ever do to you? What's with this Mr. stuff? I much prefer Steve....
And definitely make yourself at home. Even If you were only half as talented as Amy, your artwork would still be greatly appreciated here.
But your Woodcutter and Wife piece makes me think you also have an excessive amount of talent, and I know I would love to see more of your work.

Welcome to the Dojo, Melissa!
Great work, I like the woodcutter couple, too; it's so... well, reassuring that there is a kind of consistancy in the world of Usagi Yojimbo, if you know what I mean.
And your work is fantastic! A very special moment captured to tell a whole story of love and understanding....
Wonderfull, I'm looking forward to seeing more of that.
Edit: ...and, please, I'm Thomas; just Thomas...

Hi, Sensei! It's great to hear from you again! Amy and I had so much fun catching up with you at the Megacon! Any time you can make the trip down here, Lord willing, we'll be in line at your table!
