I've been a fan of UY for such a long time, and I've just wanted to thank Mr. Sakai for giving me so much joy and inspiration. As a token of my thanks, I have done a brief doodle of everyone's favorite rabbit samurai.

I've found some brief success in comics, through a few independant publications, webcomics, and even writing some comics for Nickelodeon Magazine, but I owe much of my meager to success to the energy that Mr. Sakai puts into his work: it's absolutely infectious.

I just want to make sure he gets my message of appreciation for the amazing characters and universe he has created, as I find them to be a huge inspiration to myself.

I will likely doodle some more later. Perhaps my fellow fans can make some suggestions? My archive of Usagi comics are quite small (alas, to be poor and a double major in college), so any image references you can provide would be most appreciated.

And, once again, thank you, Mr. Sakai.

Thank you, hpkomic.

It looks very nice. I especially like his expression. Is that drawn with color pencils?

Continued success!

Thanks everyone!

@Stan Sakai It's actually one of those red correction pencils for teachers, they're quite cheap to buy in bulk, and work well for structural drawings. Don't need to travel further than an office supply store to stock up.

I hope nobody minds me posting some of my own, original art, this should give you impression of the quality of my next UY pics I want to do.

These are from my webcomic, by the way. If anyone is looking for a way to kill a few minutes, it's not the worst thing you could be doing with your time. :D

Nice work. Keep it up. Webcomic book-marked. You have cleanliness, consistency and unique styling. Always a good mix. Your color work is good to boot.
