3 years, 695 pages and 300,000+ words later I finished it. I threw in everything with this crazy story. So I asked Stan if I could publish on-line and he said he was fine with it, as long as I acknowledge it is a work of fan fiction.
The plot itself revolves around a creation of my own, the son of the Shadow Lord and his name is Yasuhira.
Hence the name of the novel, "The Black Son".
I incorporated all the usual suspects into my plot, Noriyuki, Tomoe, Chizu and of course Usagi.
But if you stick with my story you'll find that I have changed the voices of these characters considerably. I'm sure that may miff a lot of you, but remember all comics are written this way. Batman's voice changes with each new writer. So I've slanted each character to how I feel they should react to the plot.
My style is a bit rambling, and I'll try to edit most of the superfluous aspects away as I make my way through it. The story is quite long. Really it is a story in three parts. I intend to use this space to post links to my Wordpress blog. It's too big for this forum.
Anyway all I'll say about "The Black Son" is that it has everything: honour, love, war, death, redemption and obligation.
