Tomorrow is THE day (Part two)

Post by Thomas Froehling »

Hello you all,
tomorrow my wife will have a Caesarean, so we'll be seeing our second child for the very first time (not counting the ultrasonic scans, that is). Although I try to convince myself that all will be fine, I have to admit that I'm a bit nervous.... :?

But why shouldn't I be?

I'll maybe try to post a picture....
Greetings from overseas

No matter how many kids a couple has, being anxious and nervous (hiding the fact from the mother), and outwardly confident are the father's contribution to the delivery process.

I hope you have a great name picked out and ready because everything will be just fine. We all expect to see some baby pics sometime in the next few days as well.

Best wishes....

Oh yeah, I remember that the evening we met at Arkham, you phoned in Germany to get some news. I didn't immediately understand that it was about your wife's pregnancy.

Anyway don't worry, Caesarean is really a minor operation nowadays, thanks to asepsis, efficient anesthesia and antibiotics.

So did she agree to having at least the child's middle name be "Usagi"?

Hello,
I am proud and happy to announce the birth of my second daughter!
Everything went smooth and relaxed, mother and child are both well, but a little tired;

Nele Johanna Wiebke
(these are her three first names; everytime I tried to get in something Japanese, my wife would start to strangle me.... :) )
weights 3.000 g with a lenght of 50 cm; :o
Ehm, we've got the metric system in Germany, you know...

She might be a little light, but she's two weeks before her expected birth date, so that's ok...

Thank you all for your concern; I'll post some pictures as soon as possible.

Thomas

@estee: I didn't even consider asking for Usagi; Would you call your daughter "Rabbit"? Yotaro would be more like it, but that seems to be a boy's name...Keiko, Inazuma and elselike were out of question because of their uncertain fate in Usagi's world.... And all this strangling when mentioning some names even remotely Japanese...
