Anyone else here planning to see this? Everything that I've heard about it so far is very positive. It sounds like it's a real science fiction film interested in ideas and not just in things blowing up. I kind of wish that it didn't come out on the same weekend as a new Miyazaki film so I didn't have to decide which one to see first.

The advanced reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. I'm very interested to see it.

I saw this yesterday afternoon. It's not bad, and I certainly wouldn't try to talk anyone out of seeing it, but I don't think that it's the new sci-fi classic that some people are saying it is. It's one of the better big summer movies to come out this year, but, for the most part, I don't think that this has been one of the greatest summers for movies. I'll probably give it another chance when it gets to DVD.

I think the key to this movie (and pretty much every other one) is to go in with low expectations and not read too much up on it. I knew pretty much nothing about it and I walked out of the theater very impressed. Great sci-fi flick.

That is a movie that is full of "rule"! I like sci-fi with a bit of a political twist to it. I swear, I won't pick on Christopher! He is a good Prawn!
