Kazu Kibuishi's Copper

Post by Maka »

Hello Usagi Yojimbo Dojo,

I just finished Kibuishi's Copper. It was a webcomic first and has been in print edition since Jan. I found it wonderful, although I'm a bit bias because Kazu went to UCSB where I work. Here an example of the copper I like:

Here's the rest of them: http://www.boltcity.com/copper/

Here's a lesson on how he makes copper: http://www.boltcity.com/workshop/copper_tutorial/

Here's Kazu's website: http://www.boltcity.com/

Kazu did two pieces for the Totoro Forest Fund show at Pixar a few years back. I also posted a LA times article on the tragedy of his sister's murder this year on this board.

I found this comic light and imaginative. I hope you like it.

Peace, maka
