my comic book series has a fb page

hello dear fellow dojoers,

I wanted to share with you the fact that I finally created a lil page for my own comic book series 'The Doggone One' on facebook.
there is a bigger comic convention ahead of me in my home town and this way I hope to drum up some interest for my little series as I haven't got any other way of promotion out at all;)

anyway, I thought I share it here, too, with you guys.some of you have already seen it actually.

on a side note, I also posted a picture of a scene in issue # 3 where I drew my cartoonist heroes as thugs on the docks;)
stan and sergio are among them.in fact, sergio is even the leader;)

hello friends,

I wanted to share the results of my experience at the comic convention in my home town the week before last week.

it was the first time we tried promoting my comics and drum up some interest.it went really well, people were showing interest.some even came back a day or two after they had bought a comic from me in order to talk some more and buy another issue or a t shirt with my characters.it was a really really sweet experience to hear back from people I never knew about what they liked or disliked about my little stories.
I met many old faces from conventions last year in other cities and made many new friends.we also arranged sort of a loose small european network of cartoonists who keep in touch and inform each other about different conventions.

I was out shopping comics in a wonderful store here in munich today and they may even carry my books.Ill get to them again when my next book is finished (only 5 pages left to ink and the lettering to do).
I love the excitement in getting your material out to people for the first time.
