Re: The Holiday Season 2015
I live a bland life, nothing planned.
Other than nothing, there is an annual Christmas get together with friends, going to see Star Wars on Sunday, and Christmas day will see us visiting my Aunt.
Are you doing anything fun?
Do you have some reading recommendations?

I'll be doing pretty much nothing too. I'll be spending Christmas with my family, but that's about it. I hope you enjoy Star Wars, maichan. I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds pretty good.
As for Christmas comics, I'd recommend the Lobster Johnson issue released earlier this year (A Chain Forged in Life). I've read a few Batman Christmas specials over the years, but nothing particularly memorable. I just yesterday tried my first ever Uncle Scrooge comic from IDW, which was a decent enough Christmas comic (it was really goofy). There's also Hellboy: A Christmas Underground, which is pretty great.

I'm basically doing nothing, too. I don't really have any Christmas comics, so I'll probably just read some of my favorites, like Usagi, MLP, and Death Note. Maybe some Sailor Moon and Pokemon manga, too.

Xmas and Boxing Day with my folks, but aside from that, nothing really going on bar the normal eating and TV watching.

Well, I'm not sure what book it's from (it was featured in this article: http://comicsalliance.com/ask-chris-san ... superhero/), but this is certainly a fantastic panel:

Besides the usual Christmas traditions with family; I'm reading Hoffman's original novella, The Nutcracker (with the Maurice Sendak illustrations!), and I've added to my growing collection of nerdy Christmas ornaments with Hallmark's Dr. Zaius (from Planet of the Apes) and Gizmo in a toy car (from Gremlins).

Are you talking about the Don Rosa artist edition?Lobster Johnson wrote:I'll be doing pretty much nothing too. I'll be spending Christmas with my family, but that's about it. I hope you enjoy Star Wars, maichan. I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds pretty good.

As for christmas, my plans are simply to spend the holidays with my family. I'll probably read a few comics, but at the moment I am busy rereading in english the first book of the Game of Thrones series (though it's only the title of the first book: the book series is called A Song of Ice and Fire).
