Re: Update (of sorts)
GREAT NEWS!
The doctor said my scans came back clean, nothing lit up, the cancer is gone!
I will need some follow up radiation therapy, targeted on the two lymph nodes that did light up before but my doctor said that is normal, to doubly ensure that the cancer cells are truly gone. But otherwise, she said that I'm good to go. Yes!

my prayers and best wishes go out into the world, Jubei. great to hear that there is something fun for you to look forward to aswell in a new samurai jack season!..I never watched the series (don't know if it was ever on in germany..) but I had a similar experience when mike judge came back after years and did a brandnew beavis and butt-head season a few years ago..

Well, first, the wife and I went out to eat to celebrate.Maka wrote:That's is great news! So happy for you and this good news makes me happy as well. How are you going to celebrate? Peace, maka

Long-term, I'm not sure. An event like this, even one that, given the medical advice and treatments is imminently curable, makes you think about the larger things. I've been considering going back to school to earn a degree. Over these long years and past moons, I've studied under a couple of different programs for various reasons but aspects of life at those times always precluded me from finishing to graduate with a degree.
And that bothers me. I could've finished any of them, perhaps should have. Some mayhaps, I'll refocus on one and finally finish it out.

Congrats on beating it. My mother went through chemo so I know that it takes a lot out of a person to go through. Thanks for keeping us updated.
