RASHOMON: A COMMISSIONER HEIGO KOBAYASHI CASE

Post by maichan »

Don't know what to expect of this, but I was drawn to it by the cover art. Haven't seen any interior art.

When the body of a skilled samurai is found along the road to Yamashina in feudal Japan, the search begins for his killer. Detective Heigo Kobayashi takes the case but finds only dead-end clues and no firsthand witnesses.

Victor Santos (Polar, Violent Love) writes and illustrates a crime and mystery story inspired by Ryunosuke Akutagawa's tales featuring the heroic commissioner Heigo Kobayashi.

*Part 1 was originally only published in Spain; this volume collects both parts in one complete hardcover.

Steve shared this link on Facebook a while back that has some interior art: http://www.comicon.com/2017/06/02/the-s ... -rashomon/

I plan on getting this book with my next instocktrades order.

I went and ordered this book through my local comic book shop. I've had it at home for a while now, but have not had the chance to read it yet, however the artwork looks great & I'm sure I will enjoy it once I read it.

This reminds me I need to watch to movie too.
