My family celebrates our family Christmas today and tomorrow we'll spend Christmas with my extended family.
My wife and I typically don't exchange gifts. We usually write a love letter to each other. But this year Cheryl got me picture book from her scholastic (she's a teacher) called, "Zen Shorts." She just liked the cover.
Well it turns out it's written by Jon J Muth, one of my favorite comic artist. It's a story about a panda, Stillwater, that tells one story to three children when they visits him. They are zen lessons.
As usually the art is fantastic and the storytelling is wonderful. I think Muth is a great children's book writer.

Santa brought my girls poly pockets and lots of baking supplies for their "Cutie Cake Bakery." We ate mochi with sweet soy bean flour for breakfast. It's going to be a great day.
