As a huge fan of Jeff Smith I really enjoyed the first issue.

I was skeptical about Jeff Smith's new version of "Shazam".
As a huge fan of Jeff Smith I really enjoyed the first issue.

I decided to pass on it, at least for now. I don't like prestige format. It doesn't really open fully like a comic, and it seems like just a piece of a trade. Are there no ads? I guess that would be in the plus column. If the reviews are stellar maybe I'll change me mind, but this seems like a candidate for trade purcahse to me down the line.
