Dear Readers,
If you are a Bone fan you will enjoy The Art of Bone.
Some early Thorn strips are included along with preliminary sketches for many pages.
The discussion of Bone and Jeff Smith is also most enjoyable.
The price was $40 usa from my local friendly comic book store.
The individual pages are very thick making the book heavy.
The art and color are beautiful.
Best wishes to all!

I concurr! I was flipping through it yesterday and it seems to be a really good specimen of its ilk. Lots of good stuff in there and very nicely presented. I may have to get me one!

I've got mine a few days ago, and I'm still not through it now.
It's a treasure full of awesome insight and art and I'm totally satisfied with the purchase, even if 40 € is a little steep for a book about a comic series (some say, but not me  ).

The book is beautiful. I love Jeff Smith's work. It's funny, most of the finished panels turn out exactly the way he lays them out in the rough thumbnail storyboards. Have you seen his homage to Sakai-sensei in the Art of Usagi book?
