Awesome. I really hope the movie lives up to the trailer.

I shouldn't have looked at this before work, I won't be able to concentrate all day.

X-MEN: THE LAST STAND pretty much killed any enthusiasm I once had for the X-franchise. As long as they're coming from 20th Century Fox, I'm not interested.

hmmmmm

that preview looks alright, except of the very very small clip of Wolvie in the Civil War (is it just my imagination?).

I'm far more comfortable with seeing Wolverine in the actual Civil War than the Marvel crossover of the same name...

Looked a lot like WWII...the storming of Normandy on D-Day to be exact. Guess we'll find out. Marvel always stood by the fact that Logan is way old (his healing ability).

Overall the trailer looks good, but didn't offer much new beyond what they showed at San Diego (which made it's way to YouTube shortly thereafter). I am glad they cast some good acting talent like Liev Schrieber as Sabretooth and not low-talents like Tyler Mane. Looks promising, but I agree they destroyed X-Men in The Last Stand...

I watched closely and there's definitely a shot of Logan wearing a Union uniform and carry a flintlock rifle with a bayonnet. It comes immediately before the shot of him storming Normandy (am I the only one hoping Sam Jackson makes a cameo as Nick Fury?).

Marvel established in the mini-series Origin that Wolverine was born sometime in the mid-19th century and based on the trailer it looks like they're following that storyline pretty closely. So it's certainly not out of the realm of possibility that he fought in the Civil War.

Yeah they've put the year of his birth back a little bit compared to the comics afaik. So you see clips of him fighting in the US Civil War, WW1, WW2 and Vietnam during the trailer.

That definitely looks like an M-16 he's carrying. Coupled with the bamboo it's most likely Vietnam.

that's some cool shots.

Woohoo, Deadpool's finally making an on-screen appearance.

While I'm pleased to see Gambit too, he looks a bit out of place to me. If all of the shots (outside of the wars, etc) are all supposed to be within the same time-frame and the children they show are indeed a young Storm and Bobby Drake(?), and he doesn't have a healing factor (like Logan/James and Wade), wouldn't he be REALLY old in the present day stuff? I thought Remy was around Stormy's age, if not younger.

But if that's all I've got to nitpick there really isn't much to be picky about, is there?

Still happy to see the Cajun/swamp rat.

Hey, is that Emma Frost around the last quarter of the trailer?
