Ok I found this while watching some old cartoons. It is a Betty Boop cartoon banned cause of drug use. The evil drug in the film that is used kids is....gasp....laughing gas. Yet in context it makes scenes and would not suddenly cause a major crime spree of youths doping up on the stuff.

personally I feel that the sensor who went at this had a major stick up where the sun does not shine.

Just another example of the idiotic political correctness that our nation has gone through. Some times I wonder if these people even know what it means to live. Anyway here is the cartoon, enjoy! Oh and don't get to high on the laughing gas!

I hate the fact that the networks censor the old Bugs Bunny cartoons.

The only way to see them unadulterated is to buy the box-set.

Shame.

Do any tv channels even show Bugs Bunny cartoons anymore? On New Year's Day, Cartoon network was running Looney Tunes all day, but I don't think that I've seen any on tv since then. Of course, the Cartoon Network just barely even runs cartoons anymore, let alone any good ones (I like Samurai Jack and a few of the older Adult Swim shows, but they're not on much anymore). The idea of the current generation of kids not growing up with Looney Tunes and other classic cartoons like I did in the 80s/early 90s akes me a little sad.
