A good day!

Hello UYDers,
Man, it's been a heck of a week. These past two weeks we had to work on a report that outline "our plan" to deal with additional budget cuts. We already got cut around 7% this year and next year looks significantly worse. I had some painful meetings this week and came to some sad realizations.
But today, I drove to my local comic book store at lunch and pick up the motherload: Yokai, Groo The Hogs of Holder, Bart Simpson Mad About Sergio #50, Strange Tales #3, The Marvelous Land of Oz #1, and Veronica #197 (free comic subscription from Free Comic Book Day, last May). They even gave me a 15% off my total order.
I got my H1N1 vaccine to protect my daughters. Tomorrow Chery and I are walking a 1/2 marathon and then I'm driving the kids to LA to visit my folks while Cheryl prepares report cards. I'm done with work, so a great weekend is starting now. I can't wait to read my comic books.
