I think that this is great news:

I think that it's a disgrace that Cartoon Network went so long without showing any Looney Tunes.

I hope they don't just show the post-Bugs Bunny Daffy cartoons, I prefer his zany, wacky OLD personality over his obnoxious, glory-seeking modern personality.

Censored or uncensored?

When they showed a Looney Tunes marathon on New Years Day this year, they didn't seem too heavy-handed about editing the cartoons for content. I do recall that they cut the very end of "Fresh Hare" because of the blackface gag, which I don't blame them for (even if it did make the cartoon end rather awkwardly):

Having uncut cartoons with racially offensive material on a DVD set that's labeled for adult collectors who understand the historical context for these cartoons is one thing, but I think cutting some parts of these cartoons for tv broadcasts that children will be watching is defensible. Of course, I don't want Cartoon Network to get overzealous about it and cut all of the violent parts like some broadcasters did in the 80s.
