Our Cancer Years is an amazing graphic novel. But I had trouble getting through the American Splendor collections. The David Letterman interviews are on YouTube.

I haven't seen the movie yet.

RIP Harvey Pekar.

Peace, maka

The American Splendor movie is good. When I was in college, the professor who taught one of my lit classes showed it to us for some reason (I don't remember exactly why, but since we read Spiegelman's Maus in this class, it might have had a connection to that).

Ken Mills, the director of the Bone documentary, The Cartoonist, has uploaded a short interview with Harvey Pekar on YouTube. It covers his friendship with Crumb, and Harvey’s views on the potential of comics.

I've tried to get The Cartoonist from Netflix for a while now, but the status has yet to move from "Very Long Wait." :(
