Is anyone here attending?
Even though Stan Sakai is not a scheduled guest this year, my nephews and I are planning on going up to Novi on saturday. So far, I have taken my nephews Nick and Jacob each to one of the conventions. This year they want to go together. I also extended an invitation to my oldest nephew (Taylor, from my sister's family) and he said he would also like to go dependent upon his work schedule.
Anyways, just curious if any other Dojo members might be there.....

Bill Sienkiewics
I could not afford the $100 for a simple head sketch from Bill, so I just got three issues of the original First Comics editions of Lone Wolf and Cub comics featuring his cover art which I brought to the con autographed. I would have loved to have gotten a Lone Wolf and Cub sketch or piece of original art from him but my finances this year would not support it.

My nephews Nick (left) and Jacob (right) with David Petersen (middle) who was great as always! I picked up two of his new print personalized to Stephane and Thomas. (Due to my finances being poor currently, it might take a while to mail)

The print's image area is larger than what is shown here, this is all that fits on my scanner.

Shawn Coolidge (creator of the Siunshine Ninja)
While we were getting sketches from Jake Minor around the corner, I noticed Shawn had some Ninja comics on his table, so I got Nick talking with him about ninja comics since Nick has created his own ninja character whom he has been playing around with in sketches and stories.

Jake and Matt Minor (and Niece / daughter)
Speaking of Jake Minor, he and his brother were my nephew Jacob's favorite guests from last year (not counting Stan and Sergio of course).

Awesome Steve,
Great pictures, art and visual review of MCCC. I really enjoyed listening to Bill Sienkiewics talk at WonderCon last month. $100 is a lot to pay for a head sketch. I wouldn't pay for that either. Sergio was only charging $60 per full character sketch.
Peace, maka
