There's some not-really-useful information here. While trying to find something more useful, I found this chap's page, where he shows a mon using that flower. However, the obi-maker could have used the stylized flower just as a decoration, in much the same way as the Arms of the Kingdom of the Netherlands appears on a lot of cheap metal buttons at fabric stores (really!). You'll note from the first link that there's a LOT of mon with that flower, and they likely aren't from related families. See if you can get ahold of this book through a local library (school or public); it's supposed to be a pretty definitive work IN ENGLISH on the subject. Once you find out which family you're looking for, you can start looking for them in the Second World War.
