Save Thundercats!!!

Post by roel »

Thundercats is an awesome show that might be cancelled by cartoon network. It deserves a second season. Please sign this petition that was started by Matthew Mercer's (voice of Tygra) girlfriend.

just signed it!...wish you much luck with this petition!unfortunatelly over here in germany(and I think in all of europe for that matter)they don't show the new thundercats show at all;(but I have been checking the internet for it since last year and seen one or two episodes on the net.
great show, wish it continues and gains success thanks to more advertising as I think the quality of the show would do the trick on its own anyway if people got to see it and that the show starts airing over here, too!

Thanks for signing cool ray.

We are at 1,700 now trying to get 2,500 more. This is a great show and I hope it gets a second season. I'd love to get the license and create the figures. This morning will be the season finale.

how does this work in a nutshell?does someone hand in the signatures to the tv station producing the show and tell them that there is so much of people interested to persuade them to continue or what happens when 4200 people have signed the petition?

I went ahead and signed it! Thundercats is a show I didn't expect to like - stubborn grognard, I can be - but ended up loving. I felt it was very respectful of the old series, not making all kinds of wonky changes, and most of all, FUN. Thundercats and Clone Wars made for a great hour of cartoon watching with my two daughters.

I signed it. I love the new show. I watch it every Saturday with my two sons. It's rare to find quality animated shows these days.

Signed it. Terrific show, expanding on the original without trouncing on it. Watch it every weekend with my son.

I have signed, though I am not a fan of Change.org and hope they do not spam my email like the last time I signed a petition they had going.

AND I also hope ThunderCats gets another season!

Thanks for everyone that signed! Please keep signing the petition!!!

Ethan Spaulding, the producer is a huge fan of Usagi. He also worked on the avatar cartoon and had Momo dressed as usagi. In the new thundercats show he had a rabbit warrior teach Lion-O how to properly wield his sword. The rabbit warrior, the "Drifter" didn't even use a sword but a willow branch to teach Lion-O how to "bend" like the willow.

Hi, cool ray. Marisha who is the girlfriend of the voice of Tygra started this petition. Once she feels that she has enough signatures she will send it to the powers that be. Since she knows the production really well I am sure it will be delivered to the right hands. It is now at 4,500. Pretty amazing jump from yesterday's tally of 3,500.

They really need to consider showing it on network tv as well as cable. Not everyone gets CN, and seriously, considering what's on Saturday mornings on the "regular" channels, it'd be a most welcome change. At least syndicate it. I hope they can save it, I really enjoy watching it.
