So, the old ninjaturtles.com is now the new ninjaturtles.com, and when you click the link, you get to see the preview of the new series.

I'm still shaking my head over it. It has good points, but for me it also has bad. I don't see any Usagi crossovers possible with this version. Still, Shredder's extremely brief appearance means that the OT Shredder is NEVER gonna be a part of this throwback to the 90s...

Thanks for posting the link. It was an interesting little video. Yet another 'take' on the TMNT gang. It could be ok. What I hated was that Nick.com destroyed the old ninjaturtle.com site and took down all the archives of the toys, etc. Anyways, I don't have cable, so, I'll have to wait till they come to dvd anyways. Bah. Go Usagi!

Yeah, I loved all that stuff on the old site. What can you do, though? I wonder if Mirage's new site has that stuff archived?

And yeah-- not everyone has cable, so (like "ThunderCats") it's gonna be limited viewing. I sometimes think they over-estimate just how many people DO have cable.

i kind of like the look of the new toon thus far. the syleized rendition is pretty cool. though i would not like it in the comics. anime series (to me) have a little more flexability than the comics. since the comics are the original source of the tmnt, their likeness should stay pretty true to the original. the "booyaka" phrase is annoying, but i'm sure it'll be phased out just like the "believe it" phrase was phased out of the US Naruto anime. i'm looking forward to seeing the new toon. i dont know if it would ever happen, but i would love to see an usagi crossover at some point.

I don't know if anyone here saw this but there is plenty of short clips from the new turtles cartoon around including this incredibe(in my humble oppinion)excerpt from their ninjitsu training at home in the sewer...
I love how raphael snaps his joints before attacking;)...reminds me of bruce lee as well as donatellos battle sounds;)
