support the turtles doc

Post by coolray85 »

hi guys!

I wanted to spread the word about this wonderful project by isaac elliot fisher and his friends, they are wrapping up work on a pretty amazing documentary called 'turtle power' on the history of teenage mutant ninja turtles.
they have over a hundered hours of interesting footage already including never before seen material from the first live action movie, several interiews with the creators kevin eastman and peter laird, they even have for the first time ever ALL voice actors from the original cartoon gathered in one room(an old appartment of kevin as I understand) and lots of great interviews and footage evolving around everthing tmnt...comics, film, new upcomming film, new nickelodeon cartoon, oriinal cartoon, 4kids cartoon, etc you name it the probably got it;)should be reall interesting to see, of course, there are also interviews with fans of any degree, from 'yeah, there was something with those ninja frogs in the past, yeah I remember'.. to 'I am wearing raphael boxer shorts RIGHT NOW'...;)

now, I don't mean to spam you or trying to push you into buying or donating anything here, I just would love it if this thing saw a proper release and so I'll share the link to the new site of the documentary here, the site also explains you in what way we can all chip in and help get this beauty on the road, come to think of it, stan if you're reading, is there an interview with you, too?just asking...

here's the link, compadres:http://turtledoc.fauxpop.tv/

thanks for your attention!;)
abayo!
p.s.:I am not working on that thing myself;)...

there is nt a set date for release as of now, that is exactly the reason why we are trying to knock on the big doors with some fan weight in order to strengthen the wish of us to see this film getting a proper release some day.
if you follow the link I gave in the first post the site gives you all the information under 'our story'..

also if you like the footage that has been shown so far you may want to check in every day now for the next couple of days/weeks, they are posting new videos and writing blogs from their work around san diego comic con etc...
in their blog video #3 it is said that they are now embarking on their last shooting leg for this project(ending with some con in august), at the moment pre-san diego they are shooting some interviews in las vegas...

cowabunga!
p.s.:
I would LOVE to see an usagi appearance in their toy line and especially in their new animated show again, what do you guys think?of course usagi is never quite the same in other media than what he is in stans hands in the comic, still I think his appearances have always been enjoyed and beloved by the majority of turtles fans
