Any of our regulars/semi-regulars in or around San Diego?
I forget... so many people, so little time heh... but if anyone here is in or near San Diego, and has a free evening next month, I've got a possible crazy proposition for them

With a breeze comes a storm, but then you'll all be washed away...

Mayhem, you're such a tease.... Do tell more please...
I (and others here) are 2 or more hours north of San Diego, but if it's crazy enough, who knows.....

Re: Any of our regulars/semi-regulars in or around San Diego
Still finalising details about what precisely is going on, and specifics about what attendees will receive...
But the general gist is there is an event happening next month in San Diego that I can't get to, but would like to. Mostly because of the gifts that attendees will receive (which is still subject to finalisation). At least one or two items may not end up being available anywhere else, although that remains to be determined. The event costs $500. Yeah. So the crazy plan idea is to pay for someone to attend in my place, and then ship all the items from the event to me afterwards.

I'm curious. Do you mind naming the event?

Well, I'm among friends here at least, so it's not going to hurt to expand...

It's mostly the version of issue #50 I'm after, and possibly the hardcover, but the final details of what guests receive has not been put in stone. Nor whether any of these "exclusive" items will be available elsewhere later
(we're assuming it's an issue of #50 comic that will be given away, not just artwork to the cover itself)

Ah, that's cool.
That would be neat to attend. Unfortunately I doubt I can offer my services.
Hopefully you can find someone to attend for you. Good luck!
