Best laid plans. Due to reasons, she decided to no longer remain inside and thus on the Wednesday just gone, Kathryn Elizabeth Janice came into the world, kicking and vaguely screaming, at the tender age of 31 weeks. Thankfully she is doing very well and progressing nicely in the four days since, but needless to say, there's quite a few weeks of incubator and growth before she can come home. Certainly an unexpected Christmas present heh...!
So... baby...!

So... baby...!
My original plan had been to make a post here in the run up to Christmas, saying that my partner and I were expecting our first child, a girl, in February of next year, and I'm sure you'd welcome her into the world when she arrived. Admittedly I had told Stan the good news a few weeks ago during helping out with something for him.

Wow, congratulations on the daughter! I'm glad she's doing okay in spite of the very early birth. An early Christmas present indeed.

Congratulations Matt! Good to here she is doing well in the hospital. I’ll pray for her development in the incubator and for your partner and you, the new parents, as you go through this joyful and stressful time. Parenthood is one of the best gifts I have received in my life and I hope it is for you two too. I hope you will share photos when you are ready of Kathryn. So happy for you all! Peace, maka

Oh WOW, congratulations! There's nothing like an early riser!
I'd like to extend my wishes for the best of health to young baby Mayhem, and that she will be home soon! I see many Chibi Usagis in her future!

Congratulations! What wonderful news!
Re: So... baby...!
Oh goodness. All the best to her and you. I can imagine that must have been a bit of a scare. But it sounds like all is well, thankfully.

Re: So... baby...!
Thanks folks... everything still progressing well, but obviously milestones still to hit before she can come home. At the moment that may be the end of January but we shall see...!
