Haruo Nakajima (the first Godzilla) coming to San Francisco

I think that meeting the first actor to portray Godzilla would be pretty cool:

I watched a few Godzilla movies when I was a kid, but, strangely enough, I never really became a huge fan of them until I was about 20 or so. I saw Shusuke Kaneko's 1990s Gamera movies about that time and fell in love with them, which led me to seek out other Japanese monster movies. I might have become a big Godzilla fan a little sooner if the excellent Godzilla DVDs that are available now were around 15-20 years ago.

If anyone has yet to be convinced to pick up the Rodan/War of the Gargantuas 2-Disc DVD set from Classic Media /Toho Masters Collections, there is a bonus documentary called "Bringing Godzilla Down To Size", with a wonderful sequence where the 3 actors who portrayed Gojira (including Haruo Nakajima) are seen marching down a sidewalk together acting like Gojira! Lots of good interviews and behind the scenes stuff too!
